In-House


Merepark has an in house team of twelve people including Project Managers from a variety of disciplines and support staff who manage the projects through to completion.

Bob Ross, Chairman – Bob formed Merepark in 1993 with Richard Peel. His attention to detail and financial experience have enabled Merepark to successfully develop combined residential and commercial projects that are attractive to mainstream lenders. Bob has a keen desire to ensure the highest level of service to tenants and purchasers alike.

Richard Peel, Managing Director – Richard Peel formed Merepark with Bob Ross in 1993. Richard brings a range of skills to the company including his ability to visualise the creative design solution and manage the development team. Richard has experience of both development and contractor based organisations and experience in the retail, leisure and office sectors.

Ian Jones, Project Director - A qualified architect, Ian started his career in Manchester working for Cullen and Philips and Leslie Jones. He was then employed at Orbit developments in Cheshire. He has since been a director of Calder Peel Partnership, where he worked with fellow Merepark director Richard Peel. Ian is leading the planning processes on the majority of Merepark schemes.

Alex Moore, Construction Director – Alex was previously with Mowlem and Carillion and has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. He has a proven track record in successfully delivering both residential and commercial projects.  

David Trippier, Commercial Director – David has been responsible for the successful commercial management of various major building projects on behalf of charitable trusts, government departments, local authorities and commercial clients.  He has particular experience of hotels, apartment, conservation, cultural and other leisure projects. 

Louise Ilhan, Company Solicitor - Louise was previously with Cobbetts in their Manchester property team and has worked as a Solicitor on both commercial and residential property transactions for the last 15 years.

Neal Hunter, Associate Director - Having worked for three years in Jersey for Naish Waddington Architects, Neal has extensive experience of large scale developments. He was also a member of the design team for the Ramada hotel in Manchester and has previously worked with the Calder Peel Partnership. He joined Merepark in 2006 and is leading tenant negotiations on the Central Village and Lewis's schemes.

Paul Woodcock, Associate Director - Paul joined Merepark in its infancy as an Architectural Technician and has been a key part in the company’s growth over the last ten years, mainly in the residential area. More recently he has applied those skills in the retail and commercial sectors and contributes a wide range of skills, including site acquisition, land and building procurement through to end sales.

Vanessa Hamer ACA, Company Accountant – Vanessa joined Merepark in 2011, and is responsible for the accounts department.  Having originally qualified with BDO Stoy Hayward in Manchester she has over 20 years experience in industry.

John Naylor, Accounts - John is responsible for the purchase ledger within the accounts department. He is currently studying ACCA and joined Merepark in 2011.

Jayne Wyche, Secretary - Jayne joined the Merepark team in 2011, she ensures that the office runs smoothly.

Martin Moorhouse, Building and Maintenance Engineer - Martin is always on hand to aid the team on any issues of snagging and maintenance.

Alex Moore, Construction Director – Alex was previously with Mowlem and Carillion and has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. He has a proven track record in successfully delivering both residential and commercial projects.

Stephen Lythgoe, Senior Projects Manager – Steve, previously with Bowmer and Kirkland, has gained over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, since graduating. He has a proven track record in successfully delivering commercial, retail, industrial and education projects over a range of values from £0.5m to £30m plus.  

Paul Doyle, Site Manager - Paul joined the team in late 2011. Formerly of Carillion, Paul has experience in successfully completing projects such as leisure centres, schools, health centres and residential developments.

Tom Kavanagh, Senior Site Manager – Tom has worked mainly on the Warrington St. Helens and Knowsley NHS lift project as framework manager for the last 6 years. This resulted in a number of national awards including a personal award for his contribution to the project development. Tom was previously with Mowlem and Carillion and has worked in the construction industry for over 40 years. He has a proven track record in successfully delivering both commercial and housing projects.  

Alex Walker, Senior Commercial Manager - With 15 years’ experience working for recognised national contractors, Alex has been responsible for the commercial success of large number diverse and complex projects across the North West and further afield.

Martin Round, Site Manager – Martin joined Merepark in 2011 after 10 years with Mowlem & Carillion Building. He has a proven track record managing large nationwide maintenance and refurbishment contracts including schemes in Ireland and the Isle of Man.  More recently Martin was involved in the governments investment programme Building Schools for the Future (BSF) in the Greater Manchester region.

AgnieszkaLysak-Klekot, Assistant Design Manager/Construction Manager – Agnieszka joined the Merepark team in 2012.  She is qualified in planning sustainable developments and construction and project management and has previously worked for Carillion as package manager.

Simon Anakin- Senior Quantity Surveyor - Simon has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years and has experience of working on a large variety of building contracts, including refurbishment and redevelopment of listed buildings.

Shaun Densmore, Junior Quantity Surveyor – Shaun joined Merepark in February 2011 and is currently studying a Quantity Surveying Degree at Liverpool John Moores University, whilst gaining valuable experience working alongside the other surveyors.

Andrew Jones, Site Engineer – Andrew joined Merepark in October 2011 to work on the Lewis’s Building re-development. Andrew’s previous projects include Knowsley Schools Joint Venture, whilst working for Balfour Beatty.

Toni Windle – Secretary and Project Vault Co-ordinator - Toni joined Merepark October 2011. Toni has previously worked for Balfour Beatty on various schools and for Vinci on P21 Hospital Contract.
