The Team
Merepark has an in house team of ten people including Project Managers from a variety of disciplines and support staff who manage the projects through to completion.
Bob Ross, Director – Bob formed Merepark in 1993 with Richard Peel. His attention to detail and financial experience have enabled Merepark to successfully develop combined residential and commercial projects that are attractive to mainstream lenders. Bob has a keen desire to ensure the highest level of service to tenants and purchasers alike.
Richard Peel, Director – Richard Peel formed Merepark with Bob Ross in 1993. Richard brings a range of skills to the company including his ability to visualise the creative design solution and manage the development team. Richard has experience of both development and contractor based organisations and experience in the retail, leisure and office sectors.
Ian Jones, Director - A qualified architect, Ian started his career in Manchester working for Cullen and Philips and Leslie Jones. He was then employed at Orbit developments in Cheshire. He has since been a director of Calder Peel Partnership, where he worked with fellow Merepark director Richard Peel. Ian is leading the planning processes on the majority of Merepark schemes.
Neal Hunter, Associate Director - Having worked for three years in Jersey for Naish Waddington Architects, Neal has extensive experience of large scale developments. He was also a member of the design team for the Ramada hotel in Manchester and has previously worked with the Calder Peel Partnership. He joined Merepark in 2006 and is leading tenant negotiations on the Central Village and Lewis's schemes.
Paul Woodcock, Associate Director - Paul joined Merepark in its infancy as an Architectural Technician and has been a key part in the companies growth over the last ten years, mainly in the residential area. More recently he has applied those skills in the retail and commercial sectors and contributes a wide range of skills, including site acquisition, land and building procurement through to end sales.
Jess Dew, Project Co-ordinator - Jess joined Merepark in 2005, straight from University, where she studied Modern Languages. She is now responsible for supporting the company directors and development staff in the procurement of projects and assisting with the marketing function.
Gwyn Dew, Accounts - Gwyn is responsible for the day to day running of the accounts and has worked at Merepark since 1998.
Sylvia Upton, Secretary - Sylvia is the newest member to the Merepark team. Joining in 2007, she ensures that the office runs smoothly.
Martin Moorhouse, Building and Maintenance Engineer - Martin is always on hand to aid the team on any issues of snagging and maintenance.
