Enterprise Investment Scheme (“EIS”)


This scheme is designed to help smaller trading companies to raise finance by offering a range of tax reliefs to investors who purchase new shares in those companies.

BPRA


BPRA which can be claimed as a 100% first year allowance against capital costs incurred on or in connection with the renovation or conversion of qualifying property into qualifying business premises within certain designated areas. The Property to be renovated or converted must have previously been vacant for a period of no less than 12 months. BPRA was introduced in April 2007 and is currently due to expire in April 2012, but the Government has announced an extension until 5 April 2017.
